Reading Courses
MA students who entered the Program prior to September 2012 and all doctoral students, may take ONE full reading course as part of their MA, and ONE full reading course as part of their PhD program. Enrolling in a reading course (5900 – MA/6900 – PhD) requires the approval of the Graduate Director and the Course Director. A brief rationale explaining how the course will advance your program of study and a short bibliography must be approved by the Graduate Director. Reading course forms must be completed by the student and returned to the program office at least four weeks prior to the start of the term in which the student enrolls in the reading course.
6000–Level Courses
